Achievements of Gujarat in Energy Sector

18th, 19th & 20th Centuries were full of ideology to develop maximum power, energy and industries at cost of resources but when it came to shortage of resources, now 21st century and maybe upcoming few will be having ideology to exploit maximum output with minimum resources. After a prolonged research on energy sector, it has come to notice that Gujarat state of India is heavily leading in the race of  energy development . Solar power is one of the fastest developing industries in Gujarat, as the state was one of the first states to develop solar power generation plants. Presently Gujarat has installed 7,645 MW of renewable energy in the state and it counts for around 28% of the total consumption. Achievements of Gujarat in energy sector have proved to be remarkable. The state is on the way to have power production of 18,000+ MW within upcoming few years.
